I mentioned a while back that I was looking for screen capture software like Fraps, etc. After trying a few using YouTube to post my videos, I found this site called WeGame and after using it have decided to make WeGame my sole video capture software.
The site and software are both developed specifically with our community in mind. Both are easy to use but the application does have some things that could be done better. The good news: from what I’ve read on their forums/blogs the issues I have with the software is being worked on right now!

A friend of mine asked me to post this here so that they could get more feedback about the next game. We already have something like this on our guild forum but he wanted as much exposure as possible.
Give us 3 things that you would want to either keep or remove for the 2nd game.
You have 1 paragraph and 500 characters per idea/suggestion.
The format will be like this:
1 a) *Suggestion 1 Title* then *PvE or PvP* <– make sure you indicate what it’s for.
1 b) Suggestion 1 paragraph (maximum 500 characters).
1 c) If links are necessary include them under your paragraph.
PLEASE NOTE: If you only have 1 suggestion, you can use 1500 Characters, 3 full paragraphs to explain in as much detail as possible your suggestion or idea. Since we don’t have a preview of the 2nd game yet, you can bring in experience you have from the first, either by mentioning that we need a better skill for a certain objective or a better emote or something that you think will tie in your functionality of a certain class.

I found this Guide to DoA Heroway recently and we decided to try it. It worked extremely well!
We didn’t post the times that the originators developed but we definitely demolished DoA compared to other builds. The best part about it is that this build takes into account any class that wants to come along.
We found that the needed characters are:
- Human Divert Hexes Monk
- Human Save Yourselves Paragon
- Human Frontliner
- Hero Dwayna’s Sorrow Minion Bomber
I ran the only human frontliner with Kousei using the scythe build listed with a few changes. I dropped Asuran Scan and Aura of Holy Might for Lightbringer’s Gaze and Club of a Thousand Bears. We did a few runs and we found out that midline damage determines the speed of the run. Splinter Weapon is a must but AoE midline damage from the curse necro, Visions of Regret mesmers, elementalists, etc really made a huge impact on speed. My advice is that if you only have one human monk run the dual N/Rt healers. The damage skills on their bar make up for the lack of another damager and they’ll give you’re monk a lot of support.
Good luck!
Update: gwShack Heroway Builds Enjoy!

So we found this build on PvXWik: DoA Fast Full Runs
We tried it last night for the first time with 4 human players (1 Earthshaker Warrior, 1 SY Paragon, 2 Monks) and found out the hard way that a few others may have to be human. We did City and did well until Lord Jadoth’s group. The double Ki combination needed more human coordinated damage from the front line and the orders/dark fury necro could probably be more effective as a human as well. In general, this build does take some extreme coordination in which heroes are historically inept.

Cathedral Of Flames (A.k.a CoF) Farming Run
Contrary to popular belief, this dungeon can be run by any number of primary classes.
Major discussions are being held as to who is more preferable for this farming dungeon, whether it’s the official wiki, Guild Wars Guru or others.
If you don’t like to read, here’s a video demonstrating the CoF Run:

*This video is not done by us, but by another 600 monk who had their video on youtube.* We will post our very own video soon.

I’ve made updates to the following posts:
Tips on Saving Gold for Non Farmers – Grammatical corrections, etc.
Template Folders – Include corrections in the post in the correct spots.
W/N Vampiric Warrior – This post got a much needed update due to PvE skills, skill changes, armor changes, insignias, etc. (This was a very old build I brought back due to the Ursan nerf.)

I hope everyone likes the new banner. I just dropped a picture of Kousei on top of a beautiful panoramic taken by an in game friend. Many thanks to him.
I’ve also added a Guild page to the blog describing my current guild. For those wondering, I’m the leader and it was started with some friends that I consider some of the best in the game. I updated the About page as well. I’ve link to my Guild Wars Wiki user page (a work in progress itself) in the character section so that I can keep all of my character information in one place.
I also want to start playing around with my video capture program so any guides that I write from now on may have videos attached.

Team: W, Morgahn, E, Dunkoro (AoE Smiter), Ogden (Signet Smiter), Me, Mo, Mo
This dungeon is one of my least favorite in the game and it didn’t change during this run. We took an AoE Smite Dunkoro which was the first mistake. Hero monks do not know how to run this build apparently so our monk ended up micro managing Dunkoro when he could. Having Ogden as the signet spammer wasn’t the greatest idea either. The skillset for AoE smite is actually a bit better suited for heroes in my opinion if they would learn how to use it. The difference between the signet and the AoE is simply that for signet smite the hero must be turned on at least guard while for AoE he can remain on peace. The amount of times that Ogden ran up too soon and broke aggro was astounding.
My advice would simply be this: if you have to bring heroes as damagers, bring elementalists. While they run the signet smite build well it won’t out damage a fire ele in this dungeon.
