I think they are gaged based on the time it takes to complete them. PVP can be more time consuming by comparison to the PVE missions you mention (Especially for someone like me who can do the deep HM in less than 30 minutes, or all 4 Mallyx quests in less than 2 hrs.

Yup.

I often find applying SB and SoA just as the daggers and hammers get to me. This ensures that my SoA will stay up even if I get knocked down.

I count the adrenaline they build up form their swings so I can time my SB's and ToA accordingly.

Realistically, with enough time dedicated you can virtually master all the dungeons.

I just wrote the CoF run as it was well the easiest thing for me back then.

Cheers.

Overall I find the CoF run not that challenging, except for the enchanted blades hammers. originally what I tried to deal with them was this:

cast mantra of resolve -> prot spirit -> SB -> SoA

SB is cast first to keep my hp up while SoA works its magic, thing is the daggers have wild strike and can remove mantra so if they DO remove mantra as soon as SoA needs to be reapplied i cast mantra, SB, then SoA again ... a lot of the time this works fine, but occasionally they'll either interupt me (by getting rid of mantra again i think) or knock me down resulting in a death.

What I was wondering was if you can hide behind the pillers so that the bow's are obstructed and kill the hammers/daggers first? and do the same for around the corners when you're heading to the murakai steward.

If I can learn to handle these enchanted enemies I could run this dungeon death free quite easily.

What do you think?
